In this fun experimental class learn how to capture these quirky characters in acrylic paint. Over two days, we will practice observational drawing, compositional ideas, paint mixing and theories of colour, finishing with a take home portrait of your favourite paddock friend.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
