Class
Roll up, Roll up; build your own circus carnival and fill it with floating fantasy creatures, in the style of the surrealist artist Joan Miro. In this two day workshop, we will construct and paint a carnival space inspired by the rainbow colours of our imagination. We’ll then fill our space with abstract flying and performing animals. At the end of this workshop, you will take home your own constructed three-dimensional carnival artwork.
The course fees include all materials, but remember… students need to wear old clothes and bring their lunch and a drink bottle.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
