Workshop
Discover the sculptural possibilities of wax and encaustic in this two-day workshop. Participants will work with plaster, cloth, fabric or paper 3D forms and reliefs that can stand alone or be incorporated into encaustic panel paintings. Demonstrations will include fusing techniques for dimensional work, joining multiple forms, and the incorporation of imagery via drawing, embedding, and image transfer.
Cost includes most materials.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
