Drawing can often be a small scale, intricate and intimate process. In this two-day workshop, you will embrace drawing on a large scale pushing the boundaries of what we consider as drawing. You will be experimenting with different mark-making methodologies and visual recording processes in order to translate your ideas into large-scale works.
You will learn how to prepare your chosen working surfaces including canvas, a variety of paper weights and even found materials. Apply a range of materials in your drawing process, aiming to complete at least one large scale drawing-based artwork. Bring along any images that inspire you. And any wooden boards or unexpected surfaces you would like to experiment with.
