Class
Create a layered, three dimensional wing span for your wall. We will make an abundance of paper feathers, studying the dimensions and details of real feathers through observational drawings. Each feather will be embellished using techniques including cutting, painting, collaging and dyeing. Finally, a
cardboard framework will be constructed and each feather attached.

Kites that fly our words high up in the sky. This workshop takes cues from the rich history of Protest art in Aotearoa, and asks young people what they would want to say and then gives them the tools to fly their words high for everyone to see.
