The Corban Estate Arts Centre (CEAC) is a unique arts precinct set in the grounds of the former Corban Family winery, established in 1902 in Henderson, West Auckland. It is situated at the foot of the Waitakere ranges, only 20 minutes from Auckland’s CBD.

Steeped in the rich history of its pioneering settlers, the Estate can be explored in your own time during your visit or through one of our workshops or special arts events. We are proud to be able to provide our visitors with a genuine arts experience.

As well as providing an education environment for arts and culture, CEAC is also a working arts hub with 22 artists using the studios on site as well as a number of arts organisations specialising in dance, theatre and Pacific culture. Some of the artists are directly involved in our education programme and studio visits can be arranged on request. CEAC’s facilities include exhibition galleries, a range of studios and spaces for arts activities, a relaxed friendly café and plenty of free parking.

Our Arts Education for schools programme based on the NZ National Curriculum, addresses achievement objectives for all levels of students (Years 1-13). We aim to facilitate effective partnerships with schools and classroom teachers which will lead to successful learning outcomes for all students.

We focus on key competencies during each session, ensuring every student gets the opportunity to participate and contribute.

This video was created by one of the parents who came with his children to one of our classes. It captures the excitement of a school's art trip at Corban Estate Arts Centre! We are delighted to be able to provide children great experiences that they will remember the rest of their lives!

Here's a second video by Choca Joe. A video of his 9 year old son, in his School Art Trip! Enjoy!
