Kyle Grenfell

ARTIST'S STATEMENT
Kyle Grenfell’s work attempts to potentiate the reality of life and transcend the dimensions of space and time, by exploring the relationship between the universality of myth and the immutable laws of nature. With influences as diverse as Munch and John Lennon, new variations are created from both constructed and discovered discourse. Kyle is fascinated by the traditional understanding of relationships thus what starts out as contemplation soon becomes finessed into dialectic of defeat, leaving only a sense of dread and the chance of a new understanding.

Kyle Grenfell graduated with a Bachelor of Design and Visual Art from Unitec Institute of Technology, Auckland in 2013.
